This week has been busy to say the least, but I’m super excited to announce the grand opening of our Etsy store. Together with my mom and grandmother, we combined our talents in jewelry making to create some awesome pieces. Check out the side bar for a link to our store!
So how did we get to this point anyways? What makes us good enough to have our own store?
I think it all started when I was in high school and my mother took an interest in beading. What started as a hobby for us all, eventually led to the opening of my mom’s bead store. Through my mom and grandmother’s instruction, I learned basic beading, wire wrapping, seed bead weaving and pearl knotting. They also went on to learn more challenging techniques working with precious metal clay (PMC) and lampworking glass beads.
Recently we’ve decided to put our talents together and start making jewelry again. The launch of our Etsy store, Out of the Woods Works, is a combination of our efforts. We’ve listed dainty, wire-wrapped necklaces and bracelets and leather knotted and peyote woven bracelets. There are also a few listings for earrings and rings. Here are some examples of our work.
When making our pieces, we also pay attention to every detail. It’s important to us to only put our best work on the market. We would never sell anything less.
I love that our jewelry is stylish and affordable! For the price, you also get amazing quality and craftsmanship. Visit the store and let us know what you think! Don’t forget to check back often as we are currently working on new listings. Thanks for your support!
